1. STOP PLAYING THE VICTIM
You should stop complaining and blaming others for your own life and the way you feel. You can’t control your surroundings and people but you can control yourself and your reactions. Start from there.
Accept the responsibility for your own life choices. Ask yourself what makes you unsatisfied, what makes you sad or angry, what you need right now, how to get there, which actions to take, who to remove from your life…Analyze yourself. There is no better way to get to know yourself than journaling.
2. READ INSPIRING BOOKS
Building self-confidence is very important. As a person who has troubles with depression, I know how much I found it hard for myself to stop my overthinking, negative thoughts and beliefs. I would feel sorry for myself and think that because I am not earning much I am incapable, everything goes wrong, that my degree means nothing and I can not find a good job, that I am a huge disappointment to my family.
Reading the inspiring books below helped me build myself again and realize that I am just having a problem, and it won’t solve until I take relevant actions. Still, if my actions did not get me expected results I believe it is a higher power decision, and who knows the way is good that way. Listen to your soul. Have goals, read inspiring books every day at least one hour and it will make you feel better and more creative and you might even develop new ideas that can help you in solving your problems.
3.CULTIVATE DAILY GRATITUDE
Stop saying I would be happy if I had this or that in my life… No, you would not, or that happiness would be temporary. Happiness is an inner state of your being. My grandpa thought me that. In the darkest times in his life, he sang and encouraged others. That is a spirit. As I said before, depression is part of my life but I am trying each day to strengthen myself and build my life the way I want. If you are suffering from depression and you feel unbearable pain like I do sometimes, more and more rare thanks to my effort, I have advice for you PUSH YOURSELF write anything. I write each day 5 things, whatever comes to my mind, like I am grateful for enjoying my coffee in peace 🙂 More days pass, you will realize you are more energetic in a better vibe. And when you are in such state better things will follow. Note this, if you don’t appreciate what you have you will never have more.
4. MEDITATE
I am practicing 10 minutes of meditation and it does help a lot, I tried from pure curiosity, did not expect anything, but a lot of things I got. I felt more positive, calmer. Meditation increases your memory, attention, self-awareness, and self-control alongside a whole list of other desirable qualities. Meditation reduces cortisol production, a stress-induced hormone that suppresses the immune system and can make you feel anxious nervous and unsettled for no real reason. Meditation reduces blood pressure and heart rate, which alleviates unnecessary pressure on your heart and arteries. Meditation increases neuroplasticity. This is the brain’s ability to organize itself, adapt to demands and enables you to become more efficient in the learning process.
Meditation increases the production of good neurotransmitters including serotonin and dopamine, both of which play a huge role in controlling our moods. It’s understood that low levels of serotonin cause depression. These are just some of the great effects of meditation.
5. STOP TAKING YOURSELF TO SERIOUSLY
Laugh more to everything that bothers you in your life, joke about it, stop caring about what others think. You are not born to please others but to live your own life. Their opinion is not your reality. You will have more fun in life if you keep smiling although things are falling apart. Everyone has some difficulties, barriers, tragedies, but when you change your approach and smile everything will be easier. Problems might not disappear, but remember HAPPINESS IS AN INNER STATE OF YOUR BEING it should not depend on your surroundings or others, so go ahead and be the best version of yourself.

Woah! I'm really loving the template/theme of
this blog. It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's hard to get that "perfect balance" between usability and appearance.
I must say that you've done a amazing job with this.
In addition, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Safari.
Excellent Blog! Does your site have a contact page?
I'm having trouble locating it but, I'd like to send you an e-mail.
I've got some ideas for your blog you might be interested in hearing.
Either way, great site and I look forward to seeing it grow over time.
