With all the talk about morning routines, we need to talk about night routines too. If you really want a fantastic morning, there is no way you can forget about your night routine. If you have a good nighttime routine, it will have a drastic effect on how you feel when you wake up and how much you have to do. That will make you go to bed relaxed and with a clear mind.
As we’ve said several times, too much stimulation in the morning is not a good thing. An easy way to avoid overdoing things in the morning is to make all of your decisions the night before.
Making decisions at night will make you feel relief and reduce stress in the morning. One of the most important decisions when deciding the night before is what to wear. Check the weather and arrange your clothes accordingly.
That little change in your habit will make a huge difference in your day. No need to worry about finding the right outfit or browsing your phone. Instead, go to your closet and throw them away.
Another decision to make the night before is what to eat in the morning or for lunch. They’re not that stressful, but it certainly won’t hurt planning your breakfast. Also, plan your lunch so you don’t have to worry about your morning and noon activities.
The final decision to make the night before is what to put on your to-do list. You probably already know in your head what to accomplish the next day. Go a step further and write down the three to five most important tasks for the next day.
This will help you not to forget anything and be as productive as possible.

Prepare In Advance
Do not just make a plan, prepare in advance if possible. Preparing will reduce the number of workload you have to do in the morning. As a result, your morning time can be spent focusing on yourself and waking your brain up. One of the most important things to prepare in advance is breakfast and lunch.
If you are planning on making a fairly substantial breakfast, add the ingredients or put the chilled ingredients on the table. Always prepare more food, than leave leftovers in fridge so you can use it for another meal.
For those who don’t have breakfast but drink coffee, set the coffee machine so that all you have to do is press a button in the morning. Do the same with your lunch. Pack your lunch and put it in the fridge. You have to pack lunch for everyone else, do it at night too.
Create a Night Routine
Just like the morning routine helps you prepare for the day, a night routine helps you fall asleep faster. Your body has an opportunity to relax and unwind before bed.
Skincare, bathing, reading, and meditating are great ideas to incorporate in your nighttime routine, as well as going to a bed at decent time.
Your sleeping habits drastically affect how you feel in the morning and how much energy you have the next day. Most adults should aim for around 8 hours of sleep a day. Some people may take an hour less, while others need an hour more.
The most important thing is that you get enough sleep to feel energized throughout the day and that you make it to bed. Also, try to go to bed at the same time every evening, Monday through Sunday. While staying up late on the weekend may be tempting, it will only ruin your sleep cycle.
This will make a world of difference because your body goes into a rhythm that makes it easier to fall asleep and wake up.
Plan and start and see the difference! Having a nighttime routine will make you start your day with ease and joy!
