BULLET JOURNAL FOR BLOGGERS AND ENTREPRENEURS
Bullet Journal is a method of personal organization. Organizes scheduling, reminders, to-do lists, brainstorming, habit tracker and other organizational tasks into a single notebook. In this way you will be more productive and live more meaningful life.
I personally love it, as it can be customized to each person’s lifestyle. As I am entrepreneur with few online businesses, it is very helpful to track my progress daily, monthly and yearly and stay at top of the game.
Make sure you buy a dotted notebook, as in that way is easier to customize according to your needs.
The great thing about bullet journal is you can make it as you wish and you just can’t make any mistakes. I will just share how I am doing and what works for me.
I will also include links of the stationary and tools that I am using and that are the the cheapest on the market. I do think you should invest in good quality dotted notebook but when it comes to other tools quality is not so important, only that does its job.
Here is what I put in my Journal in order:
1. A MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE
I write at the first left page something that motivates me, usually that is a paragraph from the bible for me.
2. KEY
On the right side of the paper I write a key that helps me with my tasks. A square symbol is for task, a star symbol is for priority task, checked square is when the task is done, crossed square is for cancelled task , two lines in the square for migrated tasks, triangle for event. You can make any symbols that work for you.
3. YEAR CALENDAR WITH NOTES
The next two pages I use for calendar, below each months are few lines for notes to write down the important deadline or events.
4. GOALS AND VISION BOARD
For this I am using again two pages, I prefer setting 3 bigger goals for the year for which later on I make an action plan. Put stickers or pictures from internet and magazines to make your own vision board that will motivate you and remind you of your goals.
5.TRAVEL PLANS
For this I use two pages where I put all 12 months and few lines to write down where I am going during which month.
6. MORNING ROUTINE
I love my morning routine and after long time I have a one that fits me so well, that I am not thinking of changing it. So I dedicate one page for my MORNING ROUTINE.
7. HABIT TRACKER
This is very important for me, as I was feeling down for a long time I made self care and socializing my main habits to track. In order to feel better I had to make sure I am taking care of myself. Another habit I wanted to change is to be more social and have time for people who love me. You can track fitness, weight loss, whatever you need and whatever you think it will make your life more fulfilling. As I tracked two habits for me two pages were enough for the whole year. But you can put this habit tracker for each month if you want to track different habits every month.
8. MOOD TRACKER
As I said before a year ago I was going through very rough time, so I wanted to make sure to track my feelings…
9. BUSINESS TRACKER
I wrote down to track my website views, ad revenue, sales from my products, courses, my social media followings and all relevant business things. I used two pages to track all my business throughout the year.
10. BUSINESS WORKLOAD AND STRATEGY
Here I wrote everything I am doing and when I am doing. I have my online business strategy where I am making content for upcoming 4 month, And months when I am doing sponsorships, branding and scaling my business.More about my strategy in some of the next posts.
11. MONTH PAGE AND DAILY TO-DO-LIST
Each month have a calendar on two pages and 3 action goals ( that are part of one of the big year goals), astrology transits for that month and small lunar chart. Astrology lovers will understand this 🙂 That is all in one page. Weekly spreads are two weeks on one page, so two pages for all month. I have only 3 smaller tasks during the day. At the end of the month I have a report section where I write what worked and what did not that month, what I have to change, highlights and downsides of the month.
12. CONTENT CALENDAR
After every month I have 4 pages dedicated for my content plan. As a Blogger this is very relevant for me.I write content for two website blog posts, two YouTube channels, few Instagram profiles…Yeah a lot to do.
13. EVERY 3 MONTH REFLECTION PAGE
After every 3 month I write down how things went, am I on the right path in achieving my year goals.
14. A YEAR REFLECTION AND FUTURE PERSPECTIVE
Did I achieved all my goals? What worked and what did not? How I feel? What are my future plans, what I think I should change in the upcoming year.
15. SOLAR RETURN
Oh YES, from behind on my Bullet Journal I write down my major aspects for the year and what to expect. AGAIN IF YOU ARE ASTROLOGY LOVER YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT 🙂
16. ADDITIONAL PAGES
As my bullet journal have many pages remaining I am using those for scripting and gratitude.
And that is it, when it comes to decoration, I prefer using stickers, as I am not artistic person. I draw sometimes few symbols on my own, but as I said I love stickers. Bullet Journal is not about art and perfection it is all about YOU. Make it unique and good luck in achieving your goals. I am not spending much money on the things I am using, actually I using the cheapest option at the market, ordering from Aliexpress and you would be positively surprised with how many high quality products you can find there.
